Joey Decroix is the founder of Cruval. Born in Mauritius, where he spent the first seventeen years of his life, his eye was shaped early on by light, and above all by the way it reflects on water. The lagoon, its surface always moving, always reflecting, never twice the same. Those years beside the Indian Ocean lastingly shaped his sensibility. Now based near Lake Geneva, he finds that same obsession under a different light, colder and more silvered. From one water to another, a single fascination guides the design of every piece: jewellery made to catch the light with subtlety and to accompany everyday life with precision and elegance.
